Just a little about me…

Hello, I am Tracey, the proud owner of my business The Norfolk Floral Studio. I am an independent florist specialising in elegant wedding floral design, that’s natural and graceful. I live in Taverham with my fiancé David, our daughter Summer Daisy-Grace and our 2 cats Lola and Misty. I have a love for gardening and the outdoors, and also, love going for days out in our beautiful county of Norfolk with my family.

My love of flowers started as a little girl admiring all of the beautiful wild flowers from the Norfolk hedgerows whilst on days out with my mum and dad. This love of flowers and all things artistic, then led me to pursue a career in floristry when I left school, and studied at our local floristry college to obtain my professional qualifications.

During my floristry career, which has been over 20 years now, I have had the pleasure to work with some amazing florists from all over the world, many of which we are still close friends. And, had some fantastic opportunities and gained so much experience, managing and working in some of the most beautiful flower shops including lead floral designer at Constance Rose, and manager at The Style Workshop in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. Before then opening my own floral business The Norfolk Floral Studio.

I have been so lucky to dress some of the most beautiful venues with flowers such as, Ascot, Blickling and Holkham Hall, Hever and Leeds Castles, Pentney Abbey, The Hoste Arms, The Woodyard, Chaucer Barn, and Low Barn Farm amongst other gorgeous venues. I’ve also had a few exciting moments during my career, to create flowers for Princess Anne , The Sultan of Brunei, The Queen on her visit to The Sainsbury Center and even a Prime Minister.

There are so many flowers that I love using in my designs, it is quite difficult to choose a favourite, but, I do have a love for Roses, the blousierthe better, natural garden flowers and also Peonies for their large heads and ruffles and, I simply love the season changes, where we see new gorgeous varieties to get excited about!

Flowers are just so beautiful whether for their fragrance, texture, shape or colours and I channel this joy and passion into my business, creating the most dreamy, effortless designs for our clients.
